IPSC North Island Champs 2010

Porirua Pistol Club has been fortunate to be granted the rights to run the NZ IPSC North Island Champs for 2010.
What makes it even more meaningful for us, is that we will not be hosting it at our club !
Reason for this is that we literally do not have the facilities to be able to cope with this type of competition.
So to gain the approval for this level of competition, and not even to hold it in your own range, in our opinion, is pretty damn special !!

Over the past few years, PPC has become more involved in running competitions at a Level 2 graciously hosted out of the Wanganui Pistol Club. And again, Wanganui are allowing us to use their range facilities to host what is probably the largest competition the PPC is yet to undertake.
Needless to say that we are extremely grateful to WPC for adjusting their shooting calendar and granting us permission to use their range and props.... again !

As you can no doubt appreciate, this type of competition requires a great deal of planning and organisation, and is something that you absolutely MUST get right.
In September 2009 we heard that our application had been approved to organise the competition. Since that time planning has begun and things are now beginning to take on a life of their own (in some respects).

An email address has been setup specifically for this competition, so if you have any questions regarding it, then you welcome to contact us.
Email: north_island_champs@poriruapistol.org.nz

More information relating to the competition will be posted here in due course.

The Entry form will also be made available once it has been finalised and approved.

The dates for the competition are: 02-03 Oct, 2010. Location: Wanganui Pistol Club, Airport Road
Make sure you have this shoot pencil'd into your calendar, and get your entries in early.
The courses of fire are going to be interesting and in some cases, pretty "full on"
This shoot should also provide you with a good run as you prep for Nationals in November :)

We look forward to seeing you at the North Island Champs..... if not sooner !!
